A prominent Corporate Recovery firm in Manchester is looking for an experienced Work Winning Insolvency Practitioner to join its team. This role is essential to the firm’s growth strategy, focusing on business development and securing new insolvency cases.

Position Overview:
As a Work Winning Insolvency Practitioner, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business leads and convert them into insolvency cases. You will leverage your professional network, build relationships with referrers such as accountants and solicitors, and promote the firm’s insolvency services to companies facing financial distress.

This is a key role for an ambitious insolvency professional who excels in both business development and technical delivery. You will manage the entire process from winning cases to overseeing insolvency proceedings, ensuring the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and secure new insolvency and corporate recovery opportunities through networking, relationship building, and lead generation.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on insolvency options and guiding them through the process.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key referrers, including accountants, solicitors, and financial advisors, to generate ongoing business opportunities.
  • Insolvency Case Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of insolvency cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Insolvency Practitioner (JIEB preferred).
  • Proven track record in business development within the insolvency sector.
  • Strong network of professional contacts in Manchester and the wider North West region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
