Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be working with an independent and expanding travel agency seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Agency Consultant to join their newly established branch in Kendal, Cumbria.

The Role
As a Travel Agency Consultant, you’ll play a key part in helping customers plan and book their perfect holidays — from dream getaways to business trips. You’ll use your travel knowledge, sales skills, and attention to detail to provide a first-class service every time.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Providing expert travel advice and creating tailor-made holiday itineraries

Handling enquiries and bookings for flights, accommodation, tours, and cruises

Offering excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone/email

Working towards individual and branch sales targets

Building long-term relationships with clients and providing aftercare service

Keeping up to date with travel products, destinations, and supplier promotions
About You
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about travel and takes pride in creating memorable experiences for clients.
You’ll ideally have:

At least 2–3 years’ experience working as a Travel Consultant (retail or independent agency background preferred)

Excellent destination knowledge and familiarity with major travel booking systems

Strong communication and customer service skills

A proactive attitude with the ability to work well within a small, friendly team

A genuine enthusiasm for helping clients find their perfect trip
