Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be working with an independent and expanding travel agency seeking a motivated and experienced Travel Agency Manager to lead their newly established branch in Kendal, Cumbria.

The Role
As the Travel Agency Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Kendal branch, managing a team of experienced Travel Consultants, and ensuring the smooth and successful running of the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of travel consultants to achieve branch targets

Managing all aspects of branch operations, including sales performance, customer service, and administration

Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and the local community

Overseeing travel bookings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery

Supporting marketing and promotional activity to grow the branch’s visibility and customer base
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a travel management or senior consultant position

Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style

Excellent knowledge of travel systems, destinations, and holiday packages

A genuine passion for travel and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience

The ability to drive sales and inspire your team to perform at their best
