A well-established and expanding insolvency practice based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of its Corporate Insolvency division.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused individual with an established network of professional introducers and a proven track record of generating high-quality insolvency referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with accountants, solicitors, lenders and other professional referrers.
- Generate new business opportunities and increase the firm’s profile within the Corporate Insolvency market.
- Manage and nurture an existing network of introducers while identifying new sources of work.
- Represent the business at networking events, conferences and industry functions.
- Work closely with Insolvency Practitioners and senior management to maximise work-winning opportunities.
- Deliver against agreed revenue and business development targets.
- Maintain strong market awareness and identify opportunities for strategic growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a business development, work-winning or relationship management role within the insolvency or restructuring sector.
- A strong and demonstrable following of accountants, solicitors and professional referrers operating within the Corporate Insolvency market.
- Proven ability to generate and convert new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially aware and driven to achieve results.
- Knowledge of Corporate Insolvency procedures and the wider restructuring market would be highly advantageous.
