Imperium Financial Recruitment are currently looking for a full time Bookkeeper to assist a firm of Chartered Accountants in South Manchester.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns ensuring HMRC filing deadlines are met
  • Reconciliation of Bank accounts
  • Maintaining Customer & Supplier accounts
  • Preparation of nominal account reconciliations
  • Month end journal entries
  • Going out to clients and instructing/implementing clients on cloud based technology

Successful candidate must be:

  • An experienced and competent bookkeeper
  • Have a good working knowledge of Accountancy systems & Excel
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work to high levels of accuracy within defined deadlines
  • Experience of cloud based technologies
