This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, client-focused individual with a strong background in accountancy practice who enjoys managing relationships and leading a small team to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services.


πŸ’Ό The Role:

As a Client Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a portfolio of clients β€” acting as their main point of contact and ensuring all compliance and advisory work is delivered to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the partners to develop client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support the firm’s ongoing growth.


πŸ“‹ Key Responsibilities:

βœ… Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and limited companies.
βœ… Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax returns.
βœ… Provide clients with proactive advice on accounting, tax, and business matters.
βœ… Build strong client relationships β€” becoming their trusted adviser.
βœ… Review and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
βœ… Assist partners with fee proposals, onboarding, and workflow planning.
βœ… Stay up to date with accounting and tax legislation.


πŸ‘€ About You:

πŸŽ“ ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in practice.
πŸ“š Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio.
πŸ’» Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
πŸ” Excellent technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and advisory.
🀝 Great communication and relationship-building skills.
🌟 Leadership qualities – able to mentor and motivate team members.
